Setting Up the Bonfire - A sacred fire pit is made, placing Prahlad’s idol near it for protection.
Parikrama - Devotees walk seven times around the fire, offering grains & prayers for blessings.
Burning of Holika - Holika is burned to remove negativity, ushering in peace and prosperity.
Taking Sacred Ash - The next morning, the ash is applied to the forehead for good luck & positivity.
